I am new

I’M NEW HERE

Words From Pastor Ron Gardner

We are a group of people who enjoy getting together to worship our Lord & Savior Jesus Christ, who enjoy the study of His Word line-upon-line, precept-upon-precept in a casual relaxed style, and who appreciate & cultivate godly relationships with one another through prayer and fellowship. And so, whether you live in Dewey, Prescott Valley, or one of the surrounding communities, we invite you to come worship the Lord with us as we seek to know Him, and have fellowship with Him.

Jesus, during the toughest night of His life, humbled Himself by laying aside His garments, and putting on those of a servant, washing the feet of His friends. Later that night, He said to His disciples

By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one anotherJohn 13:35

He truly loved both in word and in deed. And so, because our desire is to posture our hearts in alignment with His, I want you to know, we are here to serve you.

In Christ, Pastor Ron

What To Expect

  • Countryside Chapel is a group of believers desiring to know the Lord Jesus Christ more intimately, and to make Him known in an ever-increasing measure among every heart.
  • Our ultimate desire is to know Jesus Christ, God’s Son, and to be shaped into His image by the power of the Holy Spirit. John 4:24.
  • We believe that the only true basis for Christian fellowship is God’s agape love, which is greater than any difference we possess, and without which we have no right to claim ourselves to be Christians. 1 Corinthians 13.
  • We also believe that the clearest evidences of a maturing church are: faith, hope and love. Colossians 1:3-7
  • As such, we place a primary emphasis on the teaching of God’s Word, that our faith may grow. Romans 10:17.
  • We live in anticipation of the imminent return of Jesus, for He alone is our Blessed Hope. Titus 2:13.
  • Finally, we desire the fullness of His Spirit manifested in our lives, for the fruit of the Spirit is love, by which all shall know we are His disciples. Galatians 5:22.
Our desire for you…
  • FIRST: Present yourself to God and discover if He is placing you in this fellowship. If so, then seek His giftings and calling for your own life. Romans 12:1-2.
  • NEXT: Study to show yourself approved unto God. As you grow in your relationship with God, let Him prepare you for effective service. 2 Timothy 2:15.
  • LASTLY: Commit yourself to the work of Jesus Christ here. And get involved as a yielded vessel to God’s guiding you anywhere He directs. Philippians 2:13.
  • An inviting, casual atmosphere for prayer, worship, teaching and fellowship
  • Casual attire
  • Coffee and desserts
  • Nursery
  • A select library of Christian books and movies for borrowing
  • Communion every first Sunday

QOUTE OF THE DAY

I would go to the deeps a hundred times to cheer a downcast spirit. It is good for me to have been afflicted, that I might know how to speak a word in season to one that is weary.
